One of the main issues with the electric cars in sale at this moment, I think, is the fact that they are so... ugly. I mean who wants to be seen in a car that everybody will laugh at you? So for my next projects, I will try to invent some “electric” brands and adjust this aesthetics inconvenience with a collection of 5 to 7 projects where all the cars will have electric powered engines covering some of the existing market segments of today.
Ok, this is not what I have made this blog for... but anyway this is not about designing cars but driving them. And at the end why not? I will like to see all of my designs, well not quite all of them but most of them, on the street some day. So for the lucky ones like Jay Leno that can have whatever car they want, and because this is one of my favorites... and this one I will not even care about the colour, just to have it... here we go.
By the way... you can watch just the last 2 minutes where he tries few times the traction control!
This is a project made on the October 2006 so it is quite old. Also the shape it is rescued from a small project made in the year 2000 when I was at the San Pablo CEU University in Valencia. At that time I had not the ability to develop it into what I was looking for, so after the years passes I found the old drawings and did what you see. The name came from the main body having the shape of a boat, and it is a future vehicle that can be driven by humans and robots... in a not so distant future. When I draw human bodies I use images of people to get the shape right and the right stance.
